Born amidst political unrest in southeast Africa, Pacharo’s early childhood unfolded across Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Botswana before he migrated to Australia at the age of six.
Facing the challenges of cultural displacement and identity, Pacharo turned to sport as his first language of belonging, excelling in rugby, basketball, and athletics during his formative years at a leading Australian sporting school.
But it was storytelling, not sport, that ultimately became his calling. At just seventeen, Pacharo earned a place at the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), where he unearthed his power of performance.
Pacharo’s rise was immediate, with the Sydney Morning Herald naming him one of the “ten next big names in stage acting.”His main stage credits include critically acclaimed performances such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in The Mountaintop and the lead in Prize Fighter, which earned him nominations for Best Lead Actor at both the Sydney Theatre Awards and the Helpmann Awards, and won him Best Performer in the Theatre Companies category at the 36th Annual Green Room Awards.
While he began in theatre, Pacharo has since amassed a dynamic slate of film and television credits across Australia, America, and the UK. These include roles in AMC and AMC+’s Nautilus, Paramount Pictures’ Love & Monsters, 20th Century Fox’s Terra Nova, NBC’s La Brea, SBS’s Safe Harbour, ABC’s Wakefield, and Sleeping Dogs opposite Russell Crowe.
In the summer of 2012, Pacharo suspended his acting career to raise awareness for disadvantaged youth and the global importance of access to education through a self‑funded run across Australia, titled Run of Awareness. The run lasted seventy days and covered over 4,000 kilometres—an incredible journey that would not have been possible without the loving support and sacrifices of Pacharo’s older brother and close friends.
Upon returning to acting, Pacharo began focusing on crafting his own stories and teaching himself to code. He passionately embraced both storytelling and technology as powerful tools for inspiring change, solving problems, and bringing ideas to life. This fusion of creativity and innovation is the heartbeat of PM Collab Operations (PMCO)—a space where fearless storytelling meets transformative ideas, empowering others to embrace their own journeys without fear.
At first, sport was his way of belonging. Speed, strength, and strategy became his language, earning him a place among Australia’s elite young athletes. Yet, beyond the rush of competition, a deeper calling emerged—one that would change the course of his life.
At seventeen, defying all odds, Pacharo secured a place at one of the world’s top drama schools. There, he discovered the transformative power of storytelling—how words could shape emotions, how performances could shift perspectives, and how stepping into another’s shoes could bridge divides.
From the moment he set foot on a professional stage, the industry took notice. Newspapers named him one of the “ten next big names in stage acting.” His talent carried him across theatres, bringing to life historical figures, warriors, and men on the brink of redemption. With each role, he dug deeper, uncovering new layers of his artistry.
Yet, no stage role tested him like the journey he chose in2012. Leaving the spotlight behind, he embarked on a mission of endurance, running over 3,000 kilometres from Perth to Sydney via Adelaide in just 70days. His goal? To raise awareness for disadvantaged youth. Each step across the desert and cityscape reaffirmed a vital lesson: purpose is not about where you stand, but what you stand for.
When Pacharo returned to acting, his focus sharpened. He took on global film and television roles, carrying with him a renewed sense of purpose and depth. But purpose wasn’t confined to storytelling on stage & screen. He began to see creation through a broader lens—teaching himself to code, he realised that programming, like storytelling, was a tool for shaping worlds, solving problems, and bringing ideas to life. With this new perspective, his career expanded, but his mission remained the same: to create, to innovate, to inspire individuals to be unafraid. That mission became PM Collab Operations (PMCO).
PMCO is more than just an Australian-based project house—it is where fearless creativity meets impactful storytelling. Whether in film, television, theatre, or limited-run products, the goal remains the same: creativity, innovation & fearlessness.
